Faith

 

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
The evidence of things not seen."
(Hebrews, Chapter 11)

Thankfully, God sends us many signs and wonders as encouragements
In support of our Faith.
Truly, the "impossible" happens all the time.

Just walk through a forest destroyed and blackened by raging fires,
And you will soon see new life emerge from the ashes.

Centuries-old art and architecture is filled with the imagery
Of the "budding" or "flowering" cross.
it was designed to symbolize the Cross of Jesus.
Hi sgreat sacrifice of suffering and death,
Was the Path to Resurrection -- "blossoming" with New Life.
By His cross we are healed and saved.

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus tells us over and over
That with faith, all things are possible.
In Matthew's account, a man brings his child to the Lord to be healed.
Jesus is emphatic: "Everything is possible to one who has faith."
So the father cried out:
"I do believe! Help my unbelief!"
And then, of course, Jesus healed the little child.

"O Lord, increase our faith!" (Luke - Chapter 17)
